Early Childhood Programs
Welcome to The Anti-Cruelty Society’s New Early Childhood Classes!
The goal of the program is to foster empathy and caring attitudes while enhancing the Human: Animal bond. The classes provide a safe, nurturing environment where a child and caregiver can feel comfortable while learning about pets.
- Assist your child with crafts and hands-on activities
- Participate in the group activities
- Encourage your child, share ideas, and ask and answer questions
Classes are for a child (24–48 months old) and an adult caregiver.
These classes are designed to enhance your child’s creativity and social-emotional development using symbolic play and hands on activities in a free-choice learning classroom. Your child can gain empathy development and learn pet safety... while having fun!
The classes will take place at The Society’s Mullane Auditorium, located at 169 W. Grand Ave. The classes are one hour in length and cost $30 per 3-week session. Class size is 12 children and 12 adult care-givers. Each class features story-time, dramatic play, crafts, and a free-choice learning session.
