Humane Education & Service Learning
It is the mission of The Anti-Cruelty Society to build a community of caring by helping pets and educating people. Since its earliest days, The Anti-Cruelty Society has been providing humane education programs in Chicago public and private schools. Each year, we reach thousands of people from pre-school age through adults by providing educational programs at schools, summer camps and a variety of community sites. Age-appropriate presentations are available on a number of topics. Programs can be conducted as field trips to The Anti-Cruelty Society or at schools and community sites.
In addition to one-time presentations for all ages, The Anti-Cruelty Society also offers in-depth programs for teens and toddlers.
