Other Ways to Give
In addition to traditional ways of giving, the Society offers other unique opportunities to help the animals in our care.
Cell Phone Donations
If you have an old cell phone that’s not being used anymore and has little value on the secondary market doesn’t mean it has no value at all! The Anti-Cruelty Society's donation program is a recycling initiative in which used cell phones, chargers, and accessories are refurbished for future sale or recycled according to EPA guidelines. Donated cell phones have the potential to generate up to $20 per phone based on the phone's age and technology. You can drop your phone off at our Customer Service dest at 510 N. LaSalle Between 9 a.m. and 7p.m. 365 days a year or you can mail them to the address listed at the bottom of this page.
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
If you are you a Federal employee, you can give to the Society through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). This great program runs from September through December every year. You are able to make a one-time donation or multiple payroll deductions. Be sure to use our agency code 71536.
Do It Yourself Donations
Can't find the time to volunteer? Help us from home! Toys can be made from items that you have at home such as old t-shirts, blue jeans, or fabric scraps. Click here and to start creating!
Donation Drives
Some past unique ideas have included: a towel, blanket or newspaper drive, collect new/unopened pet food and treats, raise funds with a lemonade stand, create and sell jewelry or other items to raise funds and request items for the animals in lieu of birthday gifts. Matching Gift Program
Are you interested in increasing the impact of your gift? Some companies double or even triple employees' gifts to The Anti-Cruelty Society. Your employer is one of them. Some companies also match gifts of retirees, spouses, surviving spouses, and outside directors. Contact your human resources department to find out if your employer will match your contributions to The Anti-Cruelty Society.
Once you have determined that your employer matches contributions, obtain the appropriate form from your human resources department or visit the appropriate page on your employer's web site. For paper forms, please complete the entire donor portion of the form and mail it to the address below:
