Bequests/Planned Gifts
A bequest in your will or other planned gift to The Anti-Cruelty Society helps provide support for our life-saving programs and services. Annuities and trusts can provide you with income during your lifetime while also providing for the animals. Gifts of whole life insurance, IRAs and real estate are other popular ways of giving.
We would be happy to provide you, your attorney or financial planner with the proper language for your will or other estate planning documents. With so many new animal organizations asking for your support, it is important that you provide the correct information when including The Anti-Cruelty Society in your plans; our proper name is The Anti-Cruelty Society also knows as the SPCA of Illinois, 157 W. Grand Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60654, (312) 644-8338, Tax I.D. Number: 36-2179814.
The Virginia Butts Berger Cat Clinic was constructed through a generous bequest to the Society. Virginia Butts Berger left a legacy that will help save the lives of 900 cats every year for years to come.
