Service Learning Overview
Service Learning Projects
The Anti-Cruelty Society offers a wide range of home or classroom-based service learning projects. They are ideal for students in need of service learning hours, scouting troops looking to earn a badge, and teachers in search of a classroom project. Projects are broken into categories by activities that take 10, 20, 30 and 40 hours to complete, but you can mix and match to suit your needs. The Anti-Cruelty Society cannot provide supplies, but several activities can be made with recycled materials from your home. Humane Education presentations and/or field trips to The Anti-Cruelty Society are available for classes/groups. Individual students or scouts must schedule a delivery upon completion of the project(s) to receive a certificate for completion. To schedule a presentation or delivery, email education@anticruelty.org.
