Behavior and Training

Through various programs, The Anti-Cruelty Society's Behavior and Training Department helps the public develop and maintain healthy and loving relationships with their companion animals.  Each year, thousands of people take advantage of our behavior hotline and dog training classes in order to better understand their dogs and cats, get general information, or just have fun with their pets.

School of Dog Training

Housed in The Anti-Cruelty Society's Education and Training Center at 169 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago, the School of Dog Training offers several levels of training for dogs of all ages.  Our dedicated, knowledgeable instructors emphasize positive methods in a fun training program.

Classes are held throughout the year.  Please click here for class schedules.  Ask about our class discounts for animals adopted from The Anti-Cruelty Society and class graduates.

We also offer free parking in our lot (enter on Wells St.).
