Please Meet Ozzie!

What a sharp looking fellow! Ozzie is a 7-year old very handsome black and white kitty. He's got awesome markings, right down to the adorable tip of white on his tail and the cute spot of black on his nose -- no doubt where he was kissed by an angel! Ozzie is a personable and social guy, coming right up front to greet me when I came to visit. He came to the shelter when his family had a new baby and just didn't have the space for everyone -- so Ozzie had to be given up. Ozzie is a very gentle fellow who would do great with children. He is curious and fun, and will make a phenomenal new feline family member. Devoted, loving and very sweet, Ozzie promises to give you all his love ... all he asks is that you love him back. Please come and meet Ozzie, he's patiently waiting for you at The Anti-Cruelty Society, just ask for #9970627. Ozzie is ready to go home today!
Cleo #9965623

Walking by Cleo's cage, I noticed her peering out watching my every move with those beautiful green eyes of hers ...and well, of course, I had to stop and say hello. Cleo is a 12-year old pretty black and white kitty who has very striking markings, right down to the "beauty mark" at the base of her nose! Now being an older gal and still getting acclimated to the busy adoption room, Cleo prefers people to go slow with her. So some soft pets and tasty treats later, Cleo and I became friends. Cleo came to the shelter when her owner had to relocate due to work and couldn't take Cleo along. Cleo is full-figured and will need to lose weight safely with the help of your vet so she can stay healthy and happy. She is front declawed and would be a welcome addition to a quiet household where she can relax and enjoy life. With yet many good years ahead of her, Cleo will be a wonderful companion for some lucky adopter. She's a very special girl to us here at the shelter, we are hoping to find her a home with someone just as special. Won't you come and meet our friend, Cleo? She is waiting for you at The Anti-Cruelty Society, just ask for #9965263. Cleo is ready to go home today!
Gran #10289559
Hi, my name is Gran! I am a puppy mill dog. You will be very lucky and I will be very grateful if you would consider adopting me! If so, here are a few things you need to know about me:
I will be very happy to go home with you but I will need some adjustment time as I have not been socialized and my new surroundings will be a whole new world for me. So we both need to be very patient, understanding and give lots of love.
I wasn't cared for properly until now, so I may have some medical conditions that may cost you extra money during my lifetime. You know the average cost of caring for a dog my size is about $1,000 a year, so you will need to add to that cost for extra veterinary care. The behavior staff here will be available to answer any of your questions to help us be better companions, and they do it for free.
I can't wait to meet you! My name is Gran and I'm 11 years old, just ask for #10289559.
Yikes #10754747
Meeting Yikes was the highlight of my day! This pretty girl is just so darn cute! She's a young 10 years old and is a very pretty front-declawed brown tabby who has big green eyes that are just so adorable. Yikes is a gentle and friendly girl, although having only recently arrived in the adoption room, she is still getting used to her new surroundings and is a little scared. But just come and visit and you will soon hear a meow that will steal your heart. You see, Yikes will chit-chat a bit to get your attention so you don't pass her by! Yikes is a pleasingly plump girl that probably should lose a little weight in her new home, but for now there is just a bit more of her to love. Yikes would be a great new addition to the family and would be a wonderful friend for your present older feline family member. In fact, Yikes lived with other cats in your former home. So stop on over to The Anti-Cruelty Society and ask to meet Yikes, #10175747 ... this sweet girl will have you at meow! Yikes is ready to go home today!
Shilite #10262051
Shilite is a gorgeous 1-year old Shepherd mix. Her coat has beautiful shades of black and tan, and she has gorgeous markings. Shilte is a little stressed here at the shelter and is anxious to find a home of her own where she will get lots of attention and love. Shilite knows the command "sit," and being a youngster, will need help learning more. Obedience classes would be great for Shilte, as she's a smart girl and will probably go straight to the head of the class! Shilte can be fun and playful, and loves playing with tennis balls. Shilite would do best in an all-adult household, as children may be a bit much for her. Shilite would also need to meet any other dogs in the family first to see if they could be compatible roommates. Patient, low-key people would be best for Shilite as she adapts to her new home. An affectionate and loving girl, Shilite would love it if you came to visit! Shilite is waiting for you at The Anti-Cruelty Society, just ask for #10262051. Shilite is ready to go home today!
Jolie #10061738
Wow! Pretty, pretty girl! Jolie is a beautiful 7-year old tortie. She has "bunny" soft fur, big green eyes and the sweetest white paws! Jolie is 4-paw declawed, and is gentle and lovable. She came to the shelter when her owner no longer had time for her -- now how sad is that! She is a curious miss who just had to know everything that was going on when we shared our visit! Jolie would be a wonderful addition to almost any family, including one with other pets. In fact, she lived with another cat in her former home so she may be a great new friend for your present feline adult cat. Looking for a new best friend? Well, what a coincidence, so is Jolie! Hurry on over to The Anti-Cruelty Society and ask to meet Jolie, #10061738. Jolie is ready to go home today!
SHEBA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO VISITED HER.
Sheba is a gorgeous 1-year old German Shepherd mix. Her fur is a beautiful brown with just the right accents of black, and her floppy ears are adorable! Sheba is a very unique girl in that she doesn't have a tail, but not to worry -- you can still tell when she's happy as she has a cute little rear-end wiggle! Sheba is a large dog, weighing in at a healthy 68.5 lbs., and will need a home that can accommodate such a large dog. Sheba is also just out of puppy-hood and is still a very active and jumpy dog. Obedience training will be needed to help teach her some self-control and some basic commands. An experienced dog owner who will spend quality time with Sheba giving her the exercise and attention she needs will be ideal. Sheba has the potential to be one great dog, all she needs is you. So, are you looking for a new best friend?? Well, what a coincidence -- so is Sheba! Sheba is waiting for you at The Anti-Cruelty Society, just ask for #10424195. Hurry over, Sheba can't wait to meet you!
