Rocky #670173

Rocky has great stats! He is housebroken, he is dog friendly, and he is child friendly. What a fantastic dog. Rocky is so wonderful because he came from a very kind and loving home. His family’s life circumstance changed recently which caused them to make this very difficult decision to bring Rocky to ACS for adoption. Rocky is 5 years old and already neutered. Rocky would make a great companion; please call to come visit him soon. He’s waiting to go home.

Princess #669808

I am an 8 month old very pretty white and brown pit bull with the name of Princess. It's a fitting name for a 48 lb puppy girl. I'm very humble and somewhat shy at first, I would like a home that will help me be more confident and social with others. I am a strong girl with a lot of energy. I would like to go to school to learn some manners and for my people to set some boundaries for me. I am okay with select dogs, but there are others that scare me, so I shy away from those dogs. I will need focus on my housebreaking habits; they recommend crate training for me.

Please call to make an appointment to visit me. I would love to go home soon!

Toni - #669523

I may be big, but I’m a pussycat at heart. I just arrived at the shelter a few days ago. My family moved and they could not take me with them. I’m 4 years old and I am housebroken. I’m okay with some dogs, but the very rude and loud dogs scare me. Yep, that’s right; some of the other dogs scare me. I may have the look of a tough cookie, but truly I am a pussycat inside.

I’m a smart dog. I already know sit, down, stay, come, and paw. My neighbor here at the shelter, Topper, he tells me that my new family can continue my education here at The Anti-Cruelty Society at no cost.

Wow! My new family really gets a great deal when they adopt me from The Anti-Cruelty Society. I am a wonderful dog, I’m current on my vaccines, I will be spayed, I get a microchip, and they include free dog training upon adoption-what a deal!!!

Baby (#662347)

Baby is a full-figured gal somewhere in the age range of 5 years old. She is black with a white head and paws. When she was much younger, she lost about half an inch of her tongue. It is unknown how this accident happened, but it does not slow her down from eating or playing or giving big kisses. She is housebroken and will hold herself until she can get outside. There is nothing she would rather do than play fetch with a ball. Although, in her version of the game, she runs with the ball and you try to fetch it from her!!! She is okay with other dogs, but we will want to do a meet-n-greet with the other dogs at home. Baby is a character and will be a terrific addition to your family.

Tyson (#667624)

Tyson is a beautiful brindle and white boy with lots of happy energy. He is terribly camera shy and refused to show his cute and adorable face to the camera.

Tyson is a funny dog with a good spirit and lots of love to give. Like many dogs, he would do well with some basic obedience good manners type training. He is friendly to other dogs, but we would still want to do a dog introduction with the dog at home. Small children would probably be overwhelmed by Tyson’s joy to play, so we are recommending that Tyson’s family have children over 12 years old.

Tyson is a 1 ½ year old pit/boxer mix He was surrendered to us because his previous family became allergic. He is neutered and current on his vaccines.
