HOW? Dr. Yin stresses positive reinforcement instead of old, coercive methods, including choke
chains, rolled-up newspapers or spray bottles, which can lead to confused, resentful and
even aggressive dogs. She regularly trains dogs to behave in all kinds of situations,
kittens to sit quietly to have their nails clipped and even has trained chickens to ring bells
and giraffes to stand docilely while their hoofs are filed!
